At Arkblu Surfaces, we specialize in the design, supply, and installation of high-quality interior surfaces, including tile, hardwood, countertops, cabinets, and custom decorative finishes such as concrete overlays and Venetian plaster. You'll work directly with the sales and installation teams to ensure accurate fit, client alignment, and production readiness. This role requires meticulous attention to detail and the ability to balance design aesthetics with technical functionality. Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Perform detailed, on-site measurements for cabinetry installations</li><li>Use 2020 Design to create accurate layouts and plan sets for client approval and production</li><li>Collaborate with clients on cabinet styles, finishes, and configurations</li><li>Source or substitute comparable cabinet lines when original specs require adjustment</li><li>Support estimating by providing accurate materials takeoffs and layouts for pricing</li><li>Prepare project documentation, including cabinet drawings, cut sheets, and revisions</li><li>Assist with showroom appointments, product displays, and design presentations as needed</li><li>Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to ensure timely material orders and project readiness</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Minimum 5 years of experience in cabinet design and drafting</li><li>Proficiency in 2020 Design software is a must</li><li>Excellent measuring, space planning, and layout development skills</li><li>Strong attention to detail with the ability to spot potential issues in layouts or field conditions</li><li>Familiarity with cabinet manufacturers, material lines, and finish selections</li><li>Strong organizational and time management skills</li><li>Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, client-driven environment</li><li>Knowledge of insurance restoration or like-kind replacement is a plus</li></ul>Compensation &amp; Benefits<ul><li>Full time position</li><li>Competitive compensation at $50,000 to $70,000 per year, based on experience.</li><li>Mileage reimbursement for site visits</li><li>Flexible scheduling and autonomy</li><li>Growth opportunities as the company continues to expand</li></ul>Apply NowIf you're a cabinet design professional looking for a role where your expertise is trusted and your contributions truly matter, we'd love to hear from you.
